That was just wrong last night

In what to me epitomizes all that is wrong with the Republican party, Senator McCain's supported booed and shouted out derogatory comments whenever the Senator mentioned President Elect Obama. After the mean spiritedness and arrogance of the last 8 years it was obvious to the American people if not to my party that it was time to stand up to the class bully.

I'm so proud of us this morning because as a nation we did stand up and say NO to ugliness and pettiness and smallness and we said YES to working together for the good of all!!
I'm still crying and listening to will.I.am's video of yes, we can over and over. I'm so astounded this morning, even more than last night. I'm so proud of us!!
Yes!! Yes!! There seems to have been the most wondrous shift in energy, perceptible freshness and optimism and hope wafting through the air. It has been amazing, and delicious, and exhilirating to watch and hear and participate in all of this!
And, ya know, that palpable shift in consciousness made McCain's dissappointed supporters sound all the more discordant. Just totally outtawhack. YES goodness and peace and compassion and kindness got voted into the office, right on the flow, the wave, of this rising shift in consciousness!
A consciousness that realizes the power in being optimistic, positive, cooperative, creative, and yes loving. A recognition of the depths and widths (and joy!) of the sweet interconnection of all life on this planet. Wow…..
